Shots fired at local motel



November 20, 2018             8:52 P.M.



On November 20th, at about 7:20.P.M, Officers with the Redding Police Department were dispatched to 1250 Twin View Boulevard (Motel 6), regarding several subjects in an argument at the location. Multiple callers reported a verbal argument between two to three men followed by a single gunshot.

All of the involved parties fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. The witnesses were able to provide descriptions of two vehicles leaving the scene, one of which is pictured below. It is a 2014, Kia Optima with a Texas plate of DCS2369. The other is a brown Honda Civic 2 door.  The suspects were described as white or Hispanic men.

Evidence located at the scene confirmed that a single shot was fired, striking the door frame of an unoccupied room. No one was injured as a result of the shooting and the suspects are outstanding.
