Driving Under the Influence/Driver License Checkpoint

The Redding Police Department conducted a DUI and driver’s license checkpoint between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm on February 22, 2019 on Hartnell Avenue east of Churn Creek Road.

 

A total of 510 vehicles passed through the checkpoint and were screened by officers. One driver was cited for driving on a suspended license and another three drivers were cited for driving without a license.  One driver was arrested for DUI (name unavailable at the time of this press release) near the checkpoint.
