Hit and Run Suspect Injures Juvenile

On December 13, 2019 at 3:02 PM, Officers from the Redding Police Department responded to N. Court Street and Riverside Drive on a report of a Hit and Run Collision. The victim is a 15 year old male who suffered a broken right leg and facial injuries. The victim was on the sidewalk when struck by the truck. The victim is currently being treated for his non-life threatening injuries at a local area hospital.

The vehicle responsible is described as a late 90’s to early 2000’s Dodge Truck. The truck is dark blue or black, has an extended cab and a short bed. The passenger side mirror was hanging off. The truck was last seen driving on Riverside Drive after fleeing from the collision.
