On Tuesday, February 25th, 2020, at approximately 2:03 P.M., Redding Police Officers stopped a 2007 Kia sedan for a traffic violation in the area of East Cypress Street and Beverly Drive. They contacted the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, who was identified as 36 year old Michael Robert Vukobradovich of Redding. Vukobradovich was determined to be on probation and admitted to officers that he had narcotics inside the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle revealed over 2 ounces of heroin hidden inside the steering wheel and a small amount of methamphetamine in the driver’s door pocket. Over 13 thousand dollars in cash was located as well as packaging materials indicative of narcotics sales.
Agents from the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force responded to assist with the investigation. Vukobaradovich was booked into the Shasta County Jail on charges of possession of heroin for sale, transportation of heroin for sale, possession of methamphetamine, and a probation violation.
Vukobradovich is no stranger to Shasta County Law Enforcement. He has been booked into the Shasta County Jail 16 times over the last 11 years for various charges.
