**UPDATE – CVS Armed Robbery**

On February 5th, 2020 at approximately 5:00 PM, officers with the Redding Police Department responded to the CVS Pharmacy, at 317 Lake Boulevard in Redding, regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred.  Officers located the suspect vehicle on southbound I-5, which led to a pursuit.  The suspect vehicle was found abandoned in the City of Anderson.

Redding Police Investigators took over the investigation and have been working diligently since the robbery.  Investigators obtained search warrants and searched the suspect vehicle where numerous items of evidence were recovered.  This helped lead to the identities of two of the armed robbers.  They are identified as Vannoy Sutton, 21 years old, and Daelen Robinson, 24 years old, both from Bakersfield California.  On February 13, 2020, Redding Police Investigators obtained arrest warrants for both suspects regarding the CVS robbery.

Working with our law enforcement partners from Bakersfield Police Department, Investigators learned that both suspects fled to the Bakersfield area. Daelen Robison had previously been arrested in Bakersfield on unrelated charges and was still in custody at the Kern County Jail. Investigators with the Bakersfield Police department located suspect Vannoy Sutton yesterday afternoon and arrested him on our outstanding robbery warrant.  Both suspects are currently being held in the Kern County Jail and are awaiting extradition to Shasta County for the CVS robbery.

Investigators are continuing their investigation to identify the last outstanding suspect and bring him to justice.  Anyone with information should contact the Redding Police Department Investigations Division at 530-225-4200.
