On June 26th, approximately fifteen minutes after midnight, Redding Police Officers responded to a reported roll over collision in the area of East Cypress Avenue and Alfreda Way.

When Officers arrived, they discovered that a vehicle struck a power pole, shearing it in half, struck a building then landed upside down on it’s roof. The driver and sole occupant was identified as Izaiah Harrisonferrari, 26 years of Redding. Harrisonferrari received medical aid on scene by Redding Police Officers while awaiting the arrival of an ambulance. He was later transported to a local hospital for treatement of moderate injuries.

Officers suspected Harrisonferrari was under the influence of alcohol so they continued the investigation at the hospital. Based on the investigation he was determined to be under the influence and was arrested at the hospital. Due to ongoing medical care, he was released from police custody to hospital staff. A police report will be sent to the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office requesting charges against Harrisonferrari for DUI and a probation violation. Harrisonferrari is currently on probation and has a “no alcohol” clause as a term of his probation.
