Redding Police Looking for Armed Robber of Gas Station.

June 27th, 2020              3:30 P.M.

On Saturday, June 27th, 2020, at 12:56 P.M., Redding Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Chevron Gas Station convenience store located at 1650 Hilltop Dr.  The sales clerk told officers he was working at the counter when a white male adult entered the convenience store and approached the counter.  The male pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded the cash from the till, which the clerk subsequently gave him.  The male then exited the business with the cash, entered a silver hatchback, and fled northbound on Hilltop Dr.

Numerous Redding Police officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect or silver hatchback vehicle.  The suspect is described as a white male adult, in his thirties, 5 foot 8 inches tall, average build, unshaven, and was wearing a dark t-shirt and dark pants.  The clerk also saw a female in the front passenger seat of the hatchback, but could not describe her.
